An Excellent Few Days for Buccleuch Gundogs

On Wednesday the 19th of October David and Cocker Spaniel Buccleuch Ilana, “Cracker”, were awarded first place at The Cocker Spaniel Club Novice Stake held at Rosedale by kind permission of Mr D Ross and Mr D Chattaway and judged by Mr M Deacon and Mr A Hopkins-Young. In addition they were also presented with the trophy for Best Retrieve.

On Friday the 21st the run of good luck continued at the Moray Firth Spaniel & Retriever Club Open ESS Trial held at Altyre Estate by kind permission of Sir Alastair Gordon-Cumming with Keeper of the Beat Mr Peter Cairney and Judges Mr Richard Claydon and Mr Steve Charlton. David and Cowarnecourt Jonquil of Buccleuch, “Wiggle” were awarded First Place. In Second Mr Eddie Scott and FTCh Broomfield Annie, Third Mr Richard Wells with Pitrahh Dirty Angie and Fourth Mr Ben Watkins with FTCh Simonside Doris of Laysan.

Certificates of Merit were presented to: Mr Bill Johnstone and Buccleuch Katy, Mrs Julie Thatcher and Shalloakwest Shady, Mr Steven Blackwell with Luthmhor Draco and Mr Spence Waddell with Gartshore Ardara.
