“Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity which supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs. Our mission is to respond to the needs of children in our communities, and we aspire to enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential.

We support community groups, other charitable organisations, schools and individual causes across  Dumfries and Galloway. We actively fundraise throughout the year to fund our grant rounds, which are provided around the school holidays to combat holiday hunger, as well as our emergency grants to help with the cost-of-living. In 2024, we were able to support 11858 children in our region distributing £137,265 through our Cash For Kids granting programmes.

At Cash For Kids, it’s important to us that individuals know where their donations are going, and therefore 100% of each pound raised is redistributed in the local community. For example, any money raised in Dumfries And Galloway , 100% of that donation would go back into helping children and families in Dumfries and Galloway.”
