Monday 18th February at 10.30am - 2.30pm
New for 2019 – we are looking for people who would like to volunteer in the stunning Drumlanrig Gardens. The group will meet once a fortnight undertaking general gardening tasks dependant on the season. You could be planting bulbs, weeding, tidying up the garden beds, or having bonfires all with the wonderful back drop of the Lowther hills in the distance and the fragrant flowers of the gardens around you!
The sessions will be run by Robbie the Head Gardener. Robbie has been managing the Castle gardens for 22 years now. A great chance to meet new friends, learn new skills, improve your health and wellbeing, enjoy the fresh air and get your hands dirty!
Start date: 18th of Feb. Mondays (fortnightly)
Duration: 10.30am -2.30pm
Meeting place: Playground carpark
Details: Bring lunch, water, waterproofs, sturdy shoes
