The Dog Show is back for 2022, taking place on Sunday 21st August, with two categories:

• Gundogs
• Any Other Breeds

With small prizes to win, who will win the 2022 title of Best in Show?!

Entries must be in beforehand, either by downloading the form and emailing it back or by entering on the day before 12noon, at the Chapel Farm stand.

10am – 3:30pm each day. Presentations at 4pm

Galloway Gundogs are again organising this year’s Scurry. Enjoy a combination of a canine derby, Grand National and a relay race.

The Scurry takes place on both days around our specially constructed track. Handlers and their dogs travel from far and wide with many different breeds of gundog to take part in this popular dog event.

Prizes will be awarded on Saturday and Sunday to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4^th (in both the Morning & Afternoon sessions)

So come and join in the fun! Enter your dog, no matter what the breed, or simply enjoy the trials, tribulations, thrills and spills as a spectator, watching our competitors tackle the course.

Entry £2 per run or £5 for 3 runs.

We are delighted to have Galloway Gundog Association back and running these dog events at the Fair. Jon us on Sunday to watch the Retriever Tests taking place on Sunday.

Each test will have a maximum of 16 Novice Dog’s in the morning and a 16 Open Dog’s in the afternoon. Dogs will be running in pairs and it will involve one test only.

The tests will run 10am sharp to 4pm each day. With presentations to follow at approx 4.30pm
