Enjoy the classic Halloween Trail & Pumpkin Patch experience. Visit after dark for our Evening Illuminated Trail with an element of trick or treating along the way. Delve into some of Drumlanrig’s darker history and haunted tales on a Halloween Castle Tour, or let the kids get crafty at our Workshops.
Ernespie Farm
Families can enjoy a day filled with fun at Ernespie Farm, featuring pumpkin carving stations, games, outdoor play, and the opportunity to meet new animals like emus and alpacas.
Each child’s ticket includes a homegrown pumpkin and access to outdoor play throughout the day.
Mostly Ghostly Tours
Join award-winning storytellers, Mostly Ghostly, for an evening of chilling tales and immersive storytelling. Through rich narrative and first-hand dramatisations, they’ll bring to life haunting accounts from history – from eerie legends to tales of alleged witchcraft and ghostly encounters.
Venture into the shadowy streets and eerie ares of old Dumfries, and uncover some of the darkest chapters of its past on an unforgettable experience this October.

As part of Dumfries & Galloway Life’s 20th anniversary celebrations, Annandale Distillery and Mostly Ghostly Tours join forces for a special Halloween experience.
The Cocoabean Company
A special extended evening play session gives children the chance to enjoy indoor and outdoor play with a Halloween twist on Friday 23rd October, including a visit from the Wicked Witch and a Trick or Treat for every child.
There’s Halloween fun for adults too, with an adults-only twilight pumpkin-picking session featuring pumpkin decorating, live music, food, drinks and cocktails available.
