Westfield Air Rifle Shooting

This year Westfield Air Rifle Club will be running the ever popular air rifle shooting range. Air rifles have changed enormously over the last few years as modern air rifles are precharged pneumatic guns with a multi shot capability.
These examples of fine engineering are extremely accurate and easy to use. The range is busy each year with people of all ages and abilities so come along and give it a go!
You can also take part in our competition to win a cash prize.

We are excited to welcome Nith District Salmon Fishery Board and the Nith Catchment Fishery Trust. Find out about all their valuable work in the marquee where they will have live exhibits of some of the aquatic life found in the Nith.

Masterclass demonstrations will also be available from expert caster, Finlay Thomson. Finlay will also be available to offer guidance on casting techniques on a one to one basis.

There will even be a casting competition for accuracy with a single handed trout rod on Slatehouse Loch.
